Janet Vincent was a long standing AWMA(SA) committee member who was dedicated to providing care to individuals with a wound. At all times, Janet strived to make a positive difference and actively taught and guided her colleagues. It was with great sadness that AWMA(SA) lost a valuable member and friend with Janet’s unexpected and sudden death on 8th December 2007. In recognition and remembrance of such a vibrant, passionate and loving member and friend, AWMA(SA) is offering the “Janet Vincent Education Scholarship”.
THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Janet Vincent Education Scholarship is designed to assist the recipient to attend a certified conference, course or seminar in wound management.

Three paid packages to attend the AWMA national conference in Sydney 18-21 March 2012
- The scholarships include registration, travel and accommodation.
- Scholarships are by nomination and are aimed to reward and acknowledge a local wound management champion.
- This is as exciting and valuable opportunity to recognise AWMA(SA) members who are making a difference in wound management in their local workplace.
